HIV/TB Agency, Information and Service Activity (AIS) organized the Community Adherence Group workshop by the collaboration Myanmar Positive Group (MPG), National Drug User Network Myanmar( NDNM) and Asia Harm Reduction Network (AHRN) of key population (15 PWID) at Wyine Maw township, in Kachin state on 18-19 Oct 2022.
The objective of the workshop are as follow:
- To support the capacity of the members of Community Adherence Group -CAG.
- To gain the necessary knowledge can help and support each other.
SoWhat: All the participants improved the basic knowledge of forming the community based group and build the strong relationship with key population. Gained the understanding of the nature of PWID. Improved the knowledge of HIV/AIDS and U=U concept among key populations. And know more about the ARV drugs as treatment literacy, gained the basic concept of leadership, communication skills and team building through various facilitation method. And developed the basic concept of counseling, Harm reduction related with HIV and knowledge of stigma & discrimination. All the participants improved their motivation for working in CAG.
