Activity Name: HIV Prevention Project Date : 21^th March, 2023 Location : Hlegu PhawMon Center

HIV/TB Agency, Information and Service Activity (AIS) supported the HIV Prevention Project by Myanmar Positive Group at Hlegu KPSC in Hlegu Township, Yangon from October 2022.

The objectives of the collaboration are as follows:

1. To expand the HIV prevention services to ensure populations at risk for HIV are reached, tested, and linked to TB and HIV services
2. To expand the secondary distribution of prevention commodities at different service outlets
3. To provide Health Education sessions about HIV and STI prevention and treatment at KPSC and in field/community
4. To provide community-based testing services and HIV testing services at KPSC
5. To support to access ART enrollment.
6. To support clients psychologically by pre-test and post-test counseling
7. To provide Index-Testing Services

So what:HIV testing services to 68 clients and 2 positive cases were found out. 1 positive client was successfully completed to ART enrollment and 1 positive client was still in process of ART enrollment. Hlegu team planned to go mobile testing on 19.3.2023. Unfortunately, 15 clients were busy with their business. So, we postponed it and plan to go on April 2023. The coordination meeting with SSR was done on 16.3.2023. Peer Gathering Event was done for March 2023. But, we have already planned on April 5^th, 2023. Supervision visit to Partner Organization (MMTN) for quality control CBS testing was done on 28.2.2023.
